The whole point of this mod was to get chickens running around like they do in TS4 and now the one thing these chickens are not doing is just that.īut such is life, full of disappointments. Worst case scenario the chicken will move twice a day, when I trigger the events I’m triggering anyway.

If all goes well with the next test I’ll start thinking about how to move the chickens without constantly triggering events. Some on community lots and some on a few households and see how do they effect memory when I play normally. So next weekend I’ll plop some chickens around my hood. The only two events I trigger per chicken is laying an egg and a reset command I do at midnight to reset a few values. The chicken are currently being animated all the time but they don’t move around. So even feeding them is now a per chicken interaction.Īlso, isn’t my tester sim kind of cute ^_^ You buy the chickens from buy mode and all interactions are done straight through the chicken. I think the problem was all the events I was triggering, which was every 15 minutes for each chicken + even more densely after sunset when they went back to their coop. So I deleted the coop and the chickens and all was fine in my world. Even with just two chickens in the world my game was running out of memory and I was getting error 12 when saving. After I made my video showing the new chicken mod I ran into trouble.
